Hotel Receptionist à Italie

Armani Hotel Milan, a 5-star luxury hotel located in the heart of the famous Milan fashion district, is looking for a candidate to join our Lifestyle Department.

Responsibilities:

1. Be located in the Hotel Lobby in order to assist guests whenever required.
2. Welcome and handle all walk-ins.
3. Support the LSM and ALSM with any administrative duties.
4. Run required reports and report any discrepancies to involved parties.
5. Constantly be up to date regarding expected arrivals and departures.
6. Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions in a good working relationship.
7. Establish rapport with guests whilst maintaining good guest relationships.
8. Work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of “We work through Teams”.
9. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports and storage control report.
10. Support demonstrating and reinforcing Armani’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
11. Ensure punctuality is kept at all times.
12. Deal with enquiries in person or by telephone.
13. Take appropriate steps in an emergency.
14. Receive and attend to outgoing calls: local, trunk and international.
15. Take responsibility for cashing up guests’ payments.
16. Be always updated about special programs and events in the hotel and in the city in order to recognize and respond to guests' needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERTISE:

1. We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of Front Office, a strong work ethic, people-management skills, great attention to detail, and who are proactive in addressing and resolving issues.
2. Previous experience in a 5-star hotel and/or related fields.
3. At least 1-year experience in the same position.
4. Fluent in English; additional languages desirable (Chinese or Arabic).
5. Good knowledge of the attractions and events in Milan.

Type of work: Fixed term

Contract: 6/12 months
