About the role

At Sinar Kencana Group - Lighting Consultant Divison ( Kirana Tata Cahaya) we are seeking a talented and dedicated Drafter to join our Design & Architecture team. As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in bringing our innovative lighting solutions to life through the production of detailed technical drawings and specifications. This is a full-time position based in our Surabaya, East Java office.

What you'll be doing

Produce accurate and detailed architectural drawings and 3D models for a variety of lighting projects

Collaborate with the Design team to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical plans

Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant building codes, industry standards and the company's design guidelines

Liaise with project stakeholders to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into the designs

Maintain a comprehensive library of design assets, templates and specifications

Support the project management process by providing timely information and deliverables

What we're looking for

Relevant qualification in Architectural Drafting or a related field

Minimum 1 year experience as a Drafter, ideally in the lighting or architectural design industry

Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite

Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail

Ability to interpret design briefs and translate them into practical technical solutions

Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Passion for Lighting design and a keen eye for aesthetics
