Job summary

A leading logistics company in Medan is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee delivery and inventory across distribution centers. You will lead the logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective operations, maintain stock levels, and enhance communication with third-party logistics partners. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with substantial experience in logistics, particularly within FMCG. Willingness to travel across Indonesia is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics as a supervisor, and/or 2 years as a manager.
• Preferably from FMCG company.
• Experience with Demand Planning, Warehouse Management System, and Transport Management System is a plus.

• Managing delivery and inventory for two distribution center with the highest selling network in the company.
• Leading daily logistics operational team.
• Ensure maximum capacity in distribution with minimum cost, delivered safely and on time to customer.
• Intense communication with 3PL to solve problems in inventory or distribution problems.
• Maintain and monitor stock available and then plan for stock replenishment.
• Monitor and keep track of Proof of Delivery documents.
• Report delivery cost ratio and occupancy rate daily.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experience in logistics as supervisor, and/or 2 years as manager preferably from FMCG company.
• Expert in Demand Planning, Warehouse Management System, Transport Management System is a plus.
• Confident in negotiation and straightforward in communicating.
• Proficient with ERP Software (SAP) and understand FIFO
• Willing to travel around Indonesia (if needed)
• Willing to be placed in Medan
