Job description

Responsibilities

The Junior Trader is responsible for recording daily transactions in Excel, verifying trades, and reconciling them with confirmations. The role includes calculating end-of-day profit and loss and assisting senior traders in executing FX Spot, FX Swap, Money Market (Placement/Call), bonds, and derivatives transactions. The Junior Trader inputs deals accurately and promptly into the treasury system, provides weighted average JISDOR updates, and maintains transaction pricing boards.

The position also ensures proper documentation of all trades, resolves discrepancies between front, middle, and back office, and coordinates with back office for transaction confirmations. Additionally, the Junior Trader is expected to develop deeper knowledge of treasury products such as IRS, cross-currency swaps, government bonds, and money market instruments.
