A leading FMCG firm in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Trade Marketing Manager to develop and lead their annual channel strategy. Responsibilities include managing product distribution and driving promotional strategies to maximize sales growth. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 8 years in Trade Marketing, and strong analytical skills in data management. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are also essential for success in this role.
Rooted in consumer, shopper, and channel insights to develop and lead annual channel strategy and detail full year plan
Build or customise programmes that helps our customers drive traffic, loyalty, and conversion
Collaborate with Shopper to develop and communicate sales and execution channel standards (look of success) of each programme.
Drive new and existing product distribution in respective channel and improve visibility
Develop promo strategy to drive offtake in respective channel and customers, including Return On Investment planning for pre promo and review for post executed promotion in an effort to drive continuous improvement for future programming
Control its budget through good Trade Promo budget management which follows compliance guidelines, ensures on time claim settlement and proposes allocation of budgets to maximise sales growth opportunities
Collaborate with sales team to drive excellent Perfect Store and promo execution
Work closely with sales team to implement annual/quarterly/monthly sales plan and agile to pivot the plan when necessary to achieve objectives
Analyse sales data monthly to find opportunities to drive productivity and increase sales
Managing frontliner datas to be insightful report for decision making and further improvement
Implementing, monitoring and improving processes to link all marketing activities with the activities of the sales team
Work with field sales team to ensure excellence in in-store activation
Prepare promotion sell-out volume with attention to market intelligence information
Prepare input for brand and build incremental sales volume
To seize the opportunity you should have :
Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or related disciplines with minimum 8 years of experience in Trade Marketing within the FMCG industry.
At least 3 years experiences as Trade Marketing Manager (preferably the one who is experienced in General Trade & Local Modern Trade accounts)
Solid in data analysis, able to crunch numbers and keep track of business profit.
Proficient Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) required including advanced Excel
Problem solving Analytical and numerical skills, ability to draw conclusions based on analyses
Possess financial projection and cost control capability.
Time and project management skills.
Adept personality and able to work with multiple stakeholder
Experiences in managing SPG & MD
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong and proven leadership
