Job description

Maintain good relationships with suppliers and all contractors involved.

Identify and establish new supplier or contractor partnerships to support company needs.

Gather raw data on domestic/export demand, out-out initiatives, new projects, or sales forecasts. Translate this data into sourcing strategies and develop monthly supply master plans for budgeting, capacity planning, shipment, production, inventory, and tank ullage management.

Fulfill the monthly corporate sales plan and support new product initiatives from the commercial team, including domestic, export, out-out sales, and specialty/HVP product development. Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors, expand supply sources, and obtain competitive quotes. Conduct comparisons and evaluations to assist vendor selection, considering make or buy options, local versus imported purchases, and intra-company transactions.

Manage purchase orders (PO) to ensure timely submission by supply coordinators (covering domestic, import, out-out, and intra-company purchases). Verify PO accuracy against PRs from the CM team, review supporting/shipping documents, prepare purchasing proposals, and secure approval from authorized personnel.

Supervise and mentor junior team members to achieve excellent supply operations.

Oversee daily operational routines, maintain positive relationships, and strengthen cooperation with strategic suppliers at both domestic and international levels.

Coordinate with government liaison teams to ensure all necessary business licenses (import-export, dangerous goods, drug enforcement, narcotics control, excise permits, etc.) are valid and compliant with regulations.

Work with customs brokers, shipping agents, and overseas suppliers to ensure all cargoes comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Ensure seamless collaboration between supply operations and logistics teams to achieve 100% accuracy in Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI) within designated timelines, with no discrepancies against POs, maintaining product availability and customer service levels. Provide problem-solving support when needed.

Monitor stock levels daily versus actual warehouse and tank figures, ensuring minimal discrepancies to prevent demurrage, tank overflow, obsolete inventory, or shortages. Act as a focal point for meetings with key parties (e.g., CM, logistics) to take immediate corrective actions.

Ensure 100% timely submission of stock loss/gain reports related to transportation and routine operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a supply role.

Experience in the chemicals industry is advantageous.

Willingness to work in the JABODETABEK area or travel internationally as needed.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in English is mandatory.
