Job description

Monroe Consulting Group is seeking a Payroll Solutions Consultant on behalf of a notable HR Tech Solution Company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of payroll consultants across multiple client accounts and projects.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, implementation, and support using the company's HRIS platform.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with local labor laws, and timely submissions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Implementation, Customer Success) to improve processes and system functionality.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex payroll issues, offering solutions and client support.
  • Develop documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Mentor and train junior consultants, fostering team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and client satisfaction goals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a team lead or senior consultant role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and labor laws (local/regional knowledge essential).
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms or payroll software (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, ADP, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in data analysis and Excel; familiarity with system integration and reporting is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business, or related field.
