Overview

IBMC is a company that partners with businesses across industries to provide tailored recruitment solutions, helping them connect with the right talent. We are currently assisting our client, a wellness and travel resort based in Bali, in finding a passionate Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who loves storytelling, social media, and wellness. You’ll play a key role in shaping the resort’s online presence across platforms, reaching audiences in Asia, Australia, and beyond. Candidates must be currently based in Bali or willing to relocate (this requirement is non-negotiable).

Responsibilities
  • Execute and maintain the resort’s social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and expand its presence to TikTok.
  • Create engaging content (posts, reels, and stories) aligned with the resort’s brand and wellness identity.
  • Manage and optimize listings on Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, and other travel platforms to maximize visibility.
  • Support China market entry through WeChat and other relevant platforms.
  • Build and manage promotional partnerships with Luxury Escapes and other travel partners targeting the Australian market.
  • Monitor campaign performance, audience engagement, and provide monthly reports with actionable insights.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of experience, in social media or digital marketing, ideally in hospitality, wellness, or tourism.
  • Proven experience in managing and growing Instagram and Facebook business accounts.
  • Familiarity with TikTok and current social media content trends.
  • Experience managing listings on Agoda, Booking.com, and Expedia.
  • Understanding of Asian and Australian travel behavior is an advantage.
  • Basic design and video editing skills using tools like Canva or CapCut.
  • Fluent in English (German or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
  • Able to work remotely with occasional in-person meetings in Bali, or live on-site if preferred.
  • Must be based in Bali or willing to relocate, this requirement is non-negotiable.
