Job description

SITE PRODUCTION MANAGER — NICKEL MINING SITE (SULAWESI)

Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans according to company targets.

Manage ore mining, hauling, stockpile, dispatch, and shipment activities.

Ensure achievement of production volume, tonnage, and ore quality (grade & moisture).

2. Mining Operational Management

Oversee pit activities, road access, mining contractors, and heavy equipment operations.

Monitor cycle time effectiveness and heavy equipment productivity.

Control operational costs, cost per ton, and fuel consumption.

3. HSE, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

Implement a Zero Accident culture across all work areas.

• Indonesian labor & occupational safety regulations
• Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM) mining regulations
• ISO 45001 / SMK3 standards

Coordinate closely with HSE, Mine Engineering, Geology, and Operations teams.

Lead Supervisors, Foremen, Operators, and Mining Contractors.

Conduct coaching, performance evaluation, and competency development.

Maintain discipline and operational work ethics at the mining site.

5. Monitoring, Reporting & Performance Review

Prepare production reports (daily / weekly / monthly).

Manage fleet performance data, loss time, breakdowns, and productivity.

Identify operational risks and implement corrective action plans.

Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in the mining industry.

Minimum 5 years in a Production Superintendent / Production Manager role.
