  • Conduct security reviews for infrastructure changes, identifying risks and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Develop secure patterns, reference architecture, and automation that enable teams to deliver secure infrastructure at scale.
  • Identify and remediate systemic security gaps in cloud, Kubernetes, and infrastructure configurations.
  • Partner with SRE, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to embed security into platform services and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to professional development across teams.
  • Shape the team’s technical roadmap and advance key security capabilities; contribute to securing infrastructure using internal tools and processes.
Requirements
  • Strong experience securing large‑scale cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure, covering IAM, networking, compute, and storage.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby, with the ability to develop production‑grade security tooling.
  • Deep expertise in container security, Kubernetes hardening, and orchestration platform best practices.

  • Experience using or interest in leveraging AI to automate security workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across teams, drive consensus, and deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying risks in complex systems and implementing practical mitigations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Bonus: Experience in highly regulated or high‑reliability environments such as finance, healthcare, government, or telecom.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with compliance frameworks including PCI‑DSS, FedRAMP, ISO27001, or SOC II.
  • Alignment with values promoting collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
