Job summary

A leading travel agency in Indonesia is seeking an experienced candidate to oversee the accounting function for multiple legal entities in Southeast Asia. The role includes managing and reporting full accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and leading both local statutory and group audits. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 8-10 years of experience, preferably in MNCs or Big 4 firms. Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP is required. This position also offers opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably with MNC and Big 4.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• CA/CPA or other accounting certification is preferred, but not required.

Job Description

• Oversee accounting function for multiple legal entities based in Southeast Asia
• Responsible for full set of accounts for multiple entities, including overseeing monthly book closing and reporting to the consolidation team
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards
• Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements of multiple entities
• Work with external auditors to support the completion of the Group’s consolidated audit on a timely basis, and lead the process for local statutory audits
• Prepare monthly analytics to facilitate financial performance review by management
• Responsible for managing dependencies in the accounting process from other teams (e.g. treasury, corporate technology, tax, FP&A, business and legal)
• Will play a key role in continuous process improvement to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
• CA/CPA or other accounting certification is preferred, but not required
• 8-10 years relevant working experience, MNC and Big 4 experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• Oracle ERP system experience
