SEO Specialist – Oceanus (Fashion & E-commerce)

Oceanus is a luxury fashion and swimwear brand known for its premium craftsmanship, hand-beaded detailing, and iconic collaborations. Positioned at the intersection of fashion, storytelling, and design, Oceanus is building a strong global presence across e-commerce and wholesale channels.

As the brand continues to scale, organic growth and website performance are critical to unlocking sustainable revenue and improving conversion across key collections.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to lead the optimisation of the Oceanus website and Shopify store, with a strong focus on organic growth, conversion optimisation, and technical performance.

This role requires someone who understands both SEO and luxury e-commerce, and who can move quickly to identify opportunities, fix issues, and drive measurable improvements in traffic quality and conversion rate.

The position can operate in a hybrid model (remote and in-office collaboration).

Key Responsibilities – SEO & Organic Growth
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy tailored to Oceanus’ brand and commercial goals.
  • Conduct keyword research with a focus on high-intent fashion and luxury search terms.
  • Optimise category pages, product pages, and editorial content to improve rankings and visibility.
  • Improve internal linking and site architecture to support discoverability and conversion.
Shopify & Website Optimisation
  • Work closely with Shopify to optimise site structure, page speed, and technical SEO.
  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues (indexing, crawlability, site performance).
  • Optimise metadata, schema markup, and on-page elements across the site.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded into new features and launches.
Conversion-Focused SEO
  • Analyse user behaviour and search intent to improve landing page performance.
  • Optimise high-value collections (e.g. Disney collaborations, premium pieces) to drive higher AOV and conversion.
  • Use data to identify friction points in the customer journey and propose improvements.
  • Align SEO strategy with broader commercial campaigns and product priorities.
Reporting & Insights
  • Track and report on key KPIs: organic traffic, rankings, conversion rate, revenue from organic search.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the wider team.
  • Continuously test, learn, and iterate to improve performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, ideally within fashion, luxury, or e-commerce.
  • Strong experience with Shopify and e-commerce platforms.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and site performance.
  • Experience working with tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
  • Commercial mindset with a clear focus on conversion and revenue impact.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, design, and tech teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
