Responsibilities
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives or associates, provide guidance, set performance goals, and conduct regular performance evaluations and train new team members and ensure they have the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed.
  • Monitor and track individual and team sales performance against targets and objectives. Develop strategies and action plans to achieve or exceed sales goals. Implement sales techniques, best practices, and strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the sales manager or director to develop sales plans, budgets, and forecasts. Participate in the development of sales strategies and initiatives to expand market share, penetrate new markets, or target specific customer segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients. Provide support and assistance in resolving customer issues or complaints. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling and coordinate with the sales team to capitalize on those opportunities.
  • Generate regular sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to the sales management team. Identify trends, potential bottlenecks, or areas for improvement. Make recommendations based on data analysis to optimize sales strategies and improve overall sales performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and product knowledge. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques. Conduct regular sales meetings or training sessions to communicate updates, share best practices, and address challenges.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, or customer service, to ensure alignment and support the overall sales objectives. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, campaigns, or sales incentives to drive sales.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations for the sales team members. Provide constructive feedback, recognize top performers, and address underperformance through coaching, training, or disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies, objectives, and targets. Provide input on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to help shape sales strategies and tactics.
  • Ensure that the sales team adheres to company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements. Promote a culture of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus within the sales team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, with a minimum of 5 (five) years in a sales management role.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, including working knowledge of productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and Sales management software.
  • Proven experience in sales or related roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in sales techniques, methodologies, and strategies.
