Job summary

A leading safety solutions provider in Jakarta Utara is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to actively engage with clients and provide tailored safety solutions. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in technical sales, strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, and excellent communication skills. You will conduct presentations and collaborate with engineering teams to meet client needs in the dynamic safety industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales engineer or technical sales role within the safety or fire protection industry.
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of fire protection systems, including Kidde and Simplex products.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with existing and prospective clients to understand their safety requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our Kidde and Simplex product lines
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customised solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients
• Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the safety industry
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, consultants, and decision-makers
• Prepare detailed proposals and quotations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
• Provide post-sales support and assist with the implementation and commissioning of our solutions

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar sales engineer or technical sales role within the safety or fire protection industry
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of fire protection systems, including Kidde and Simplex products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand solutions
• Proven track record of successfully engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining a focus on achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in fire protection, engineering, or a related field
