We are seeking an experienced sales person to assist with the rapid sales growth in the HMA Group businesses in Indonesia. Someone with strong interpersonal skill to assist with the rapid sales growth in Electrical, and Instrumentation business in Indonesia. This role will play a critical part in the Identification and development of new and expanded business opportunities in the region to achieve the sales plan through effective client and team partnerships.

The position will involve visiting Customers and identifying opportunities for HMA products, following up project activity, the gathering of new enquiries, sales presentations to key account customers. An appropriate remuneration package including a fully maintained company vehicle will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and most likely will have a electrical/instrumentation engineering degree, physics engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical trade or engineering certificate and a proven track record in selling Instrumentation Equipment and or Electrical equipment to the Oil and Gas, Power, Mining, mineral processing, pulp and paper, and cement industries in the territory. This is a position for somebody who desires increased challenge and responsibility, prospects for advancement within the HMA Group are high.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new customers and expand existing market.
  • Set sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets, projecting expected sales volume and profits.
  • Build and promote strong long lasting business relationships with customers and channels partners.
  • Travelling to remote customers when necessary.
  • Drive sales, monitor, track, and review sales performance and take necessary actions to ensure that goals are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Major.
  • Experience in sales with one or more in Electrical and Instrumentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Ability to build rapport and develop relationships with internal and external customers and prospects
  • Well organised and a proven chaser of business opportunities
  • Be (Both) technically and sales orientated
  • Customer focussed with attention to details
  • Budget forecasting and proficiency with commercial terms and conditions
  • Ability and willingness to travel is a MUST
  • A solid understanding of engineering and technical principles is required along with the ability to effectively communicate details and objectives within project teams, sub-contractors and clients.
