Job description

We are seeking a Senior Optimization Engineer experienced in telecommunications network optimization, particularly with ZTE equipment. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing optimization solutions to enhance network quality and capacity, ensuring the best performance for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze network performance (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) using ZTE tools and platforms.
• Identify network issues, troubleshoot, and provide parameter optimization solutions to improve KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Design and implement RF (Radio Frequency) optimization strategies for coverage, capacity, and quality.
• Collaborate with Planning, Deployment, and Maintenance teams for parameter and network configuration implementation.
• Prepare regular analysis reports, optimization recommendations, and technical documentation.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest ZTE technologies and industry optimization trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as an Optimization Engineer, with a focus on ZTE equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with ZTE platforms and tools (such as ZXPOS, UniCare, OMC‑R, etc.).
• In‑depth understanding of mobile technologies (2G/3G/4G/5G), radio parameters, and KPIs.
• Proficient with drive‑test tools (TEMS, Nemo, etc.) and post‑processing software.
• Possession of ZTE certifications (ZXRAN, ZXONE, etc.) will be a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to field sites as needed.
