Job summary

A leading HR firm is seeking an experienced HR Manager to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with operational goals in Jakarta Utara, Indonesia. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, recruit and onboard factory staff. Strong English and Chinese proficiency is required for effective communication with stakeholders. This role will drive a positive work environment and support health, safety, and environmental programs.

Job description

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the operation & business goals.

Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and development for factory staff.

Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor regulations and maintain updated knowledge of employment laws.

Foster a positive work environment through effective employee engagement, communication, and conflict resolution.

Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting in coordination with finance and local authorities.

Drive safety culture and ensure HR support for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs.

Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to align policies and practices.

Analyze HR metrics to support decision‑making and improve factory productivity and retention.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 2‑5 years of HR experience.

Proven track record in managing HR functions in Indonesia, with in‑depth knowledge of local labor laws.

Strong English & Chinese proficiency (verbal and written) for effective communication with international stakeholders.
