Job description

Manages and drives the execution of steel bridge erection projects to maximize project results with respect to Cash and Margin, whilst delivering projects on time, in accordance with Contract specifications and managing Customer expectations effectively.

Objective:

Ensuring that all parties in the Company's project team deliver projects on time as agreed with the Customer, with quality in accordance with Contract standards and within approved budget parameters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Project Manager is fully responsible and accountable - considering company business guidelines, interests and strategic objectives - for the following key activities:

• Stakeholder Communications Management
• Project Organization and Structure
• Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management
• Risk Assessment and Opportunity Management
• Project Process Optimization
• Team and People Management
• Project Close-out and Handover
• Control and Monitoring of Accrued Expenses

The Project Manager controls and monitors the following critical elements:

• All KPI's of the project scope, including Gross/Net Margin, On Time Delivery, Cash-Flow management, Order risk assessment and contingency development.
• Process Performance and Efficiency
• Suppliers and Contractors Performance

The Project Manager informs, consults, and agrees with Management on actions related to:

• Functional Management coordination
• Legal Function requirements

The Project Manager actively participates in:

• Regular project reviews with the Head of PM and Operation Management.
• Formation and negotiation of consortium agreements.
• Ensuring safe working conditions, health and environmental compliance in the workplace and reports hazardous conditions to superiors.
• Complying with all related EHS regulations in job activity areas.
• Ensuring availability of resources (budget, equipment, training) to meet project requirements effectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferably specializing in steel bridge engineering or structural engineering);

Minimum 5 years of progressive working experience as a PROJECT MANAGER in STEEL BRIDGE ERECTION and/or steel structure manufacturing industries;

Comprehensive technical knowledge of steel structures, design principles and operational expertise to intelligently coordinate projects with customers and project teams;

Strong organizational abilities and diplomatic skills to coordinate projects with multiple functional departments and customers effectively;

Proven initiative and analytical intuition to evaluate feedback information from people and systems, anticipate potential project obstacles and implement preventive measures or corrective actions on a timely basis;

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate team collaboration and problem-solving techniques; ability to interact professionally with customers, consultants and project stakeholders at various levels to resolve issues without compromising project objectives;

Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) for comprehensive Project Management;

Advanced computer literacy using Microsoft Windows software suite (including MS Office applications);

Flexibility and willingness to travel within Indonesia and internationally as project requirements demand;

Outstanding analytical thinking and negotiation capabilities;

Exceptional teamwork and people management skills;

Strong leadership character and initiative to take decisive action when required for company benefit;

Superior organizational and time management skills;

Demonstrated ability to evaluate information sufficiency and validity, acting proactively without supervision, while consistently providing management with actionable insights;

Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Bahasa Indonesia) with ability to adapt communication approach based on different stakeholder requirements;

Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical project deadlines and deliverables.
