Job summary

A leading financial services provider in Jakarta is seeking a Product Manager to act as the representative of the Business Owner and the Voice of the Customer. Job Description: As a Product Manager, you will act as a representative of the Business Owner and the Voice of the Customer. Your role will involve deriving user stories from in-depth research methodologies such as customer-driven, data-driven, technology-driven, market-driven, and business-driven approaches. You will translate these insights into:

  • Product Vision
  • Product Roadmap (including milestones, MVP, OKR)
  • Product Backlog (based on adaptive business priorities)

You will be a crucial part of an Agile/Scrum team with responsibilities that include:

  • Serving as a translator between the Business Owner and the Development Team.
  • Collaborating with the Development Team to determine a realistic Sprint Backlog and Sprint Goal that meets business needs based on the Product Backlog, Development Team capacity, Definition of Done, and retrospective commitments.
  • Being available to clarify business needs during the Sprint cycle.
  • Ensuring accountability of the Development Team's work aligning with ongoing business requirements.
  • Conducting Backlog Grooming/Refinement as necessary.
  • Proactively reporting product development progress to the Business Owner and Customer.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Product Management/Project Management in the Multi-finance/Banking/Insurance industry.
  • Clear, precise, and effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Customers and the Development Team.
  • Strong ownership and responsibility towards the company and product.
  • Understanding of Agile Mindset and Scrum Framework.
  • Ability to solve complex problems and identify use cases/solutions.
  • Effective prioritization skills.
  • Ability to create conceptual designs (at least high-level materials).
  • Ability to build Product Knowledge that is easily understood by Customers and the Development Team.
