Narrative Development: Write engaging storylines, dialogue, lore, and in-game text that enhance gameplay and world-building. Maintain story bibles, character docs, and timelines tailored to the target audience.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with designers, artists, and programmers to integrate narrative elements into gameplay. Join brainstorms and pitch sessions while ensuring consistent tone, structure, and character voices.

Research & Cultural Relevance: Conduct research for cultural accuracy and thematic depth. Stay updated on youth culture, anime, manga, comics, films, and gaming trends to keep narratives fresh and relevant.

Documentation & Tools: Keep narrative documents organized in Google Workspace and deliver concise, production-friendly scripts.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in narrative writing for games or interactive media.
• Portfolio showcasing dialogue, quests, and story arcs.
• Strong grasp of storytelling fundamentals: character, structure, pacing, tone, and genre conventions.
• Skilled in writing dialogue and branching narratives.
• Proficient with Google Workspace for documentation and collaboration.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Indonesian.
• Passionate about video games and narrative design.
• Familiar with popular media (anime, manga, comics, films).
• Research-driven and detail-oriented, with a focus on authentic storytelling.
• Knowledge of game design principles and gameplay-narrative integration is a plus.
