Responsibilities

• Operates the Multi Effect Evaporator, checks, controls, records and reports the water and wastewater balance to guarantee wastewater treatment is running smoothly and under control to avoid production process interruption due to water and wastewater constraint.
• Operates the Hydrophores, Cooling Towers, Process Water, regeneration of demin plant, checks, controls, records, and reports the deep well water, process water, cooling tower, and demineralized water balance to guarantee sufficient water supply to productions.
• Raw wastewater: checks, controls, monitors, adjusts the pH quality of raw wastewater in each WW pond prior feeding into multi effect evaporator to guarantee that raw wastewater is treated in normal pH to avoid potential corrosion damage of the pumps, pipelines, MEE equipment.
• Water and wastewater balance: controls, monitors, records and report water and wastewater generation and its utilization and treatment to maintain water and wastewater balance in order to guarantee production processes will not be interrupted due to water and wastewater constraint.
• Multi Effect Evaporator: operates, controls, monitors, maintains MEE daily operations to Standard Operating Procedure to guarantee raw wastewater will be treated appropriately to obtain optimum concentrated wastewater and condensate water. Records the process parameter and MEE output, transfers the concentrated wastewater into pond E-321 to be dried up in spray dryer and condensate water to pond C-307 as process water to be re-used as cleaning water for production equipment.
• Cooling Tower Operation: checks, controls, monitors, records and adjusts the quantity and quality of cooling tower and boiler water, including water temperature and conductivity, by taking and sending samples to laboratory or using a measuring instrument, then records the test result and reports to Superiors any nonconformity for adjustment.
• Operates, controls, monitors, maintains Demin Plant daily operations per SOP, including regeneration and blowdown to obtain optimum demineralized water quality. Records the demineralized water quantity and quality, reports to Superior any nonconformity for adjustment.
• Environmental Protections: arranges, controls, records and reports daily operation of environmental monitoring inside and outside of Gabus plant, conducts regular patrol to the entire plant and periodically control the village environmental to guarantee no negative impact from the plant operation to the society. All those activities reported to HSE Manager.
• Actively contributes to maintaining and reducing water and wastewater generation appropriately, avoid any potential leakages in water sources including cost reduction in WWTP program.
• Maintains MEE, Cooling Tower and Demineralized plant Equipment: arranges, controls, records, maintains all MEE equipment are in proper operation, report out of order WWTP, cooling water system and demineralized plant equipment to Engineering department to be repaired with immediate effect in order to minimize potential production delay because of wastewater constraint.
• Work and Process Safety: follows implementation of established work safety and process safety regulations to prevent potential work incident and accident, proactively maintains and reviews process safety related to MEE operation to identify potential risks. Takes prompt necessary corrective actions when unsafe work and process safety conditions or practices are observed and/or reported in MEE operation.
• Arranges, maintains, controls, records and reports housekeeping, safety and hygiene duties of MEE plant. Maintains cleanliness and tidiness, maintains company’s property in his area of responsibility, reports any non-conformance in MEE, cooling tower and demineralized plant’s property or equipment.
