Overview

The Merchant Marketing Data Analyst Associate will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed marketing strategies to accelerate GoFood’s growth. This role is responsible for developing and managing analytics dashboards, delivering actionable insights, and optimizing marketing performance across key initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze merchant adoption of core GoFood features—such as promotions and ads—evaluate campaign effectiveness, and assess cost efficiency to guide smarter marketing decisions. A core focus is optimizing sales and CRM efforts to ensure cost-effective strategies for converting merchants to participate in promotional and advertising programs. By leveraging strong analytical skills, this role will contribute to refining business strategies, improving merchant conversion rates, and identifying untapped growth opportunities.

This position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product, and business units—to ensure alignment between analytics efforts and broader company objectives. It is ideally suited for a highly analytical, results-driven professional with a passion for transforming complex data into strategic insights.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage marketing analytics frameworks – Develop dashboards and reports to track key marketing OKRs.
  • Analyze campaign performance and merchant behavior – Provide insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive growth.
  • Develop predictive models and A/B testing – Improve forecasting, attribution, and marketing spend efficiency on CRM.
  • Enhance targeting and segmentation – Use data-driven insights to refine merchant segmentation for better conversion and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Has over 3 years of experience in analytics, marketing intelligence, or data-driven decision-making roles, preferably within tech, e-commerce, or FMCG industries.
  • Proficient in data analytics and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms.
  • Possesses strong statistical and predictive modeling skills, with experience in A/B testing, forecasting, and attribution analysis.
  • Demonstrates a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experienced in marketing performance analysis, merchant segmentation, and ROI optimization.
  • Skilled in working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and business teams to ensure alignment of data-driven strategies with company goals.
  • Strong in problem-solving and critical thinking, with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while driving data-informed decision-making.

The Marketing Analytics team is a vital part of the GoFood Marketing division, based in Jakarta. This team collaborates closely with CRM, Product Marketing, Sales, and Merchant Growth teams to provide data-driven insights that enhance marketing performance, optimize campaign effectiveness, and drive business growth. By leveraging analytics, the team ensures that marketing efforts are strategic, cost-efficient, and impactful.

A key focus is optimizing outreach campaigns, including WhatsApp and Telesales, to convert unmanaged merchants into active participants in promos and ads while maximizing cost efficiency.
