Local Hiring – Placement in Ungaran, Central Java Office

Join our dynamic team in Merchandising! You’ll be part of the process from development to production, managing samples, orders, costing, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Senior Merchandiser
    • Handle costing and create T&A timelines for fully garment production until delivery
    • Manage customer orders from development to production, ensuring samples meet buyer requirements
    • Lead buyer and internal meetings, ensuring smooth communication and sample meet customer requirements
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely order processing
    • Solve problems proactively during the development & production process
    • Update projections, bookings, and business plans
    • Mentor and lead junior staff as a team
  • Merchandiser
    • Support senior staff with costing processes
    • Assist in managing orders from development to production and ensure they meet customer requirements
    • Coordinate with cross-functional departments for smooth processes
    • Ensure raw materials and accessories are available on schedule
    • Prepare reports on order status and production progress
    • Maintain clear communication and service to buyers
  • Junior Merchandiser
    • Data management
    • Manage PO in high number by daily and weekly
    • Input data (PO) into ERP systems
    • Prepare and update PO monitoring reports (weekly & monthly)
    • Support senior staff in handling new developments
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for ERP-related requests
Job Requirements (All Position)
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, fast response, good communication, and multitasking ability.
  • Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable
  • Preferably experienced in garment industry (bag/gloves industry also welcome).

Experience requirements:

  • - Junior Merchandiser: 1+ year
  • - Merchandiser: 3–6 years
  • - Senior Merchandiser: 7–15 years, with proven leadership skills

Extra Plus (for Merchandiser & Senior Merchandiser):

  • Have good knowledges & experiences on garment production process
  • Experiences in costing and product development.
  • Experience handling woven fabrics
  • Proactive and has Leadership skill.

And finally, in 2017 Busana Apparel Group start the expansion overseas by opening our newest factory in Ethiopia.

Right now, Busana Apparel Group has more than 50 million pieces of production capability annually from 9 production locations that produced in 30 factories through the hands of 30,000 experienced worker.

Along the way, we are also continuing our efforts to be an energy efficient company by saving 60% of our energy usage on lighting, 50% energy saving through servo motors, 32% steam system optimization, and more than 25,000 trees planted on our sites. We even have the highest score LEED certified green building to ensure our sustainability program running simultaneously with our business target.
