Overview

To maximize sales and profitability by developing and implementing effective marketing strategies for coal products. This involves understanding market trends, identifying customer needs, maintaining customer relationships, and effective collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a structured sales funnel — from prospecting to negotiations and closing.
  • Coordinate production plan & shipment logistics with relevant stakeholders at mine and port.
  • Coordinate bid submissions and compliance documentation.
  • Draft coal supply agreements and handle contract renewals.
  • Facilitate contract signing, coordinate logistics with operations, and ensure delivery schedules align with buyer needs.
  • Maintain long-term relationships through account management, performance reviews, and service support.
  • Analyze demand from local industries and overseas.
  • Monitor credit limits, outstanding payments, and work with finance to follow up on receivables.
  • Create sales report for management and regulators.
  • Track policy developments, such as Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) requirements, pricing regulations, and stay updated on export regulations, documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from Marketing / Business / Engineering / other relevant major.
  • Min. 3 years proven experience in marketing.
  • Understand and experienced in domestic and international coal market preferred.
  • Have good understanding of the coal technical aspects and shipment operations.
  • Strong analytical skill.
  • Good communication & negotiation skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders, close deals, build relationships with clients and partners.
  • Understand domestic and international relevant policies and regulations.
  • Skilled in operating Microsoft Applications.
  • Fluency in English.
