Job Description

The Managing Director will be responsible for leading the company's operations within the Indonesian market, ensuring profitable growth across all key business segments. This role entails fostering sustainable customer relationships, enhancing local organisational efficiency, and ensuring strategic alignment with regional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall business operations in Indonesia, ensuring revenue and profit targets are met through effective local sales strategy development and execution.
• Develop and implement the country sales strategy aligned with regional goals, using market insights and feedback to drive growth and sales execution.
• Oversee customer-facing functions, including technical support and after-sales service, ensuring high satisfaction via KPI reviews and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, safety standards, corporate policies, and contractual obligations while managing financial planning, risk, and reporting.
• Manage pricing, supply chain, inventory, and local assembly coordination to guarantee efficient delivery of products and services.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, lead negotiations, and provide leadership to recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing teams.

The Successful Applicant

• MSc or BSc in Engineering or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in a general management role within a multinational corporate environment.
• Strong leadership and management capabilities with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated experience in the pump industry and/or B2B industrial equipment, products, and solutions, with specific knowledge of the Indonesian market.
• Strong understanding of local market dynamics and proven ability to develop sales strategies tailored to the business environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional and regional teams.
