Accountabilities
  • Lead and develop the Store Planning & Design team; prioritize workloads and ensure quality reviews.
  • Oversee the entire store planning process: from intake to architectural review, modeling, and install-ready plans.
  • Translate construction documents into executable sensor designs that meet compliance requirements.
  • Enhance planning methods through research and development initiatives for improved accuracy and scalability.
  • Manage third-party tools and vendor relationships to ensure design precision.
  • Create a structured feedback loop with installers to refine plans and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and improve workflows.
  • Define metrics to track planning performance and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in retail architecture, store planning, or interior architecture.
  • 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
  • Hands‑on experience with 3D modeling and spatial planning.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design tools.
  • Experience with LIDAR scans and as‑built validation workflows.
  • Ability to leverage GIS and spatial data for planning and analysis.
  • Strong process improvement abilities and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
