Job Description

As the Manager Engineering, you will be the technical cornerstone of the organization, leading a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and oversee the implementation of renewable energy projects and green infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Planning: Lead technical feasibility studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and the preparation of technical specifications for green energy projects (Solar PV, Wind, Biomass, etc.).

Project Oversight: Manage the entire engineering lifecycle from pre-construction to commissioning, ensuring all technical deliverables meet quality, cost, and timeline targets.

Innovation & R&D: Identify and integrate emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector to optimize operational efficiency and project bankability.

Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with PLN Group units, vendors, contractors, and regulators to ensure compliance with national and international technical standards.

Team Leadership: Manage workload distribution, provide technical mentorship, and drive the professional development of the engineering staff.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all engineering designs adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and environmental sustainability standards.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Energy Engineering from a reputable university. A Master’s Degree (S2) is a significant advantage.

A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Engineering, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or lead role.

Proven track record in handling large-scale power infrastructure or Renewable Energy (EBT) projects.

Deep understanding of power grid interconnection systems and PLN technical regulations.

Proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP, PVSyst, AutoCAD, or other energy modeling tools.

Professional certification (e.g., IPM/IPP from PII) or relevant competency certifications in the electricity sector is highly preferred.

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership capabilities with a result-oriented mindset.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills in both English and Indonesian.

Strong analytical thinking and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
