Overview

As a Legal Assistant Manager, you will support the Senior Legal Manager in providing legal assistance and managing legal risks across the Company’s business and commercial teams. You will ensure that all legal processes, documents, and agreements comply with prevailing laws and regulations, while upholding best practices and maintaining attention to detail in all legal matters.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents related to the Company’s business activities, products, and third-party vendors in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Providing clear and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on various legal issues, business initiatives, and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Identifying potential legal risks and proposing effective mitigation strategies, both during new business/project development and through daily legal reviews.
  • Ensuring commercial agreements and business processes comply with applicable laws and regulations, particularly those issued by BI and OJK.
  • Maintaining and updating the Company’s template agreements in line with current legal and regulatory requirements, as requested by stakeholders.
  • Supporting various legal administrative tasks, including legal filings, data submissions, and regulatory reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the tech and financial industries; prior experience in a law firm is a strong advantage.
  • Strong collaboration, relationship-building, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working and able to manage workload in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to manage workloads and multitask effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling legal matters.
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of financial institutions and regulations, including multifinance, peer to peer lending, and banking products.
