Job description
Overview

As Lead Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining all critical infrastructure systems within the data center to ensure 24/7 operations. This role ensures maximum uptime by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, monitoring facility systems, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the data centre facilities
  • Monitor, operate, and maintain critical facility systems, including power supply (UPS, generators), cooling (CRAC/CRAH, chillers), fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
  • Overseeing maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless operational support.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators within the department.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensuring all systems operate within regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Supervising technical teams and providing necessary training or support.
  • Collaborating with external vendors for specialised services when required.
Profile
  • At least Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, with exposure in data centers or critical infrastructure environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, fire suppression, and building management systems.
  • Ability to work in a rotating shift schedule and be available for emergency response.
