Job description

The Junior Banquet Manager assists in planning, coordinating, and executing all banquet functions, meetings, and events in the hotel. Responsible for maintaining service standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and supporting smooth team operations.

Assist in preparing event requirements as requested by guests. Coordinate with related departments (Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, etc.). Prepare function sheets / event orders.

Supervise set-up, execution, and closing of events according to hotel standards. Ensure banquet equipment is complete, clean, and in good condition. Provide guidance to the banquet team.

Greet and interact with clients before, during, and after events. Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure service quality meets hotel standards.

Guide and motivate banquet staff. Assist in preparing staff work schedules. Conduct daily briefings regarding event details.

Assist in preparing daily/monthly operational reports. Monitor banquet equipment inventory. Support budget management and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in banquet/F&B (preferably at supervisor level).
