A prominent housing company in Aceh, Bandar, is seeking a legal advisor to provide timely legal advice on corporate governance, commercial contracts, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will possess a recognized law degree and at least 4 years of experience, with the ability to communicate complex legal issues effectively. Responsibilities include drafting agreements, managing legal risks, and conducting legal training. This role offers an opportunity to work in a highly autonomous environment.
Provide accurate, relevant, and timely advice to company and other members of staff on a variety of legal topics that relate to the business sector and their products or services. These include corporate governance, commercial contracts, labor law, and regulatory compliance.
Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and/or other stakeholder to safeguard company’s interests.
Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations & expansion plans.
Liaison with external legal counsel (when necessary) to manage various legal matters.
Promote legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company.
Designing and delivering legal training to the business.
Stay up-to-date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect company’s business and/or specific industry (e.g. plantation, property development, investment, etc.)
Liaising with senior members of staff.
Any ad-hoc task which is assigned by the Top Management.
Possess a recognized law degree.
At least 4 years of working experience. Actual practice experience is not required but will be an added advantage.
Sound understanding and knowledge of commercial and corporate law.
The ability to communicate complex legal issues and risks in terms that non-legal colleagues can understand.
The ability to work in a highly autonomous role.
Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.
Office is in Subang Jaya and will move to new office in Bandar Rimbayu in April 2026.
