A prestigious hotel in Bali is seeking an experienced HR Manager to assist in enhancing employee relations and managing HR programs. You will lead recruitment efforts, conduct training, and ensure compliance with HR regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Law or Psychology and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
Assists the HR Manager in maintaining and enhancing the organization's human resources through planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations, policies, programs, and practices.
Supports the HR Manager in maintaining the work structure by updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
Maintains organizational staff by establishing recruiting, testing, and interviewing programs; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting exit interviews; and recommending improvements.
Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
Maintains a pay plan by conducting pay surveys, scheduling and conducting job evaluations, preparing pay budgets, monitoring pay actions, and recommending revisions to pay structures.
Ensures effective planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers in coaching and discipline; scheduling management conferences; resolving grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.
Manages employee benefits programs by assessing needs, recommending plans, processing claims, evaluating bids, awarding contracts, and educating employees about benefits.
Ensures legal compliance by monitoring federal and state HR requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
Maintains management guidelines by updating HR policies and procedures.
Maintains historical HR records through designing filing and retrieval systems.
Enhances professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional societies.
Completes HR operational requirements by scheduling, assigning, and following up on work results.
Recruits, selects, orients, and trains HR staff.
Manages HR staff performance through counseling, discipline, and performance appraisals.
Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Law or Psychology.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role at a 4* or 5* hotel.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong employee classification skills.
Familiar with employment law, including laws against sexual harassment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
