Job description

We are looking for an HR Manager to support our growing company. This role oversees the full scope of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, and HR operations. You will be responsible for building foundational HR policies and processes for the Indonesia office while ensuring alignment with local labor regulations and the company’s global standards.

The position works closely with our group-level teams and global stakeholders, requiring strong collaboration skills and the ability to operate effectively in a remote, cross-cultural environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and able to balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR responsibilities as the team continues to grow.

Job Requirements:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Lead recruitment efforts for the Indonesia office, ensuring a smooth hiring and onboarding experience that supports team growth and strengthens employer branding.

HR Strategy, Policies & Compliance
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and processes that meet Indonesian labor requirements while supporting scalable business operations. Oversee HR administration and ensure compliance across the employee lifecycle.

Employee Relations & Culture Development
Act as a trusted partner for employees and managers, fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Provide guidance on employee communication, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.

Performance & Development
Drive performance management processes, support leaders in providing feedback and coaching, and identify development opportunities that encourage continuous improvement and employee growth.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations
Oversee compensation practices, benefits administration, and HR systems, ensuring fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with business needs.

Cross-Country Collaboration
Work closely with global HR teams to ensure local practices align with company-wide initiatives and support the development of scalable HR frameworks.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written); Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience with hands-on work across full HR functions.

Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, manpower regulations, BPJS, statutory processes, and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated ability to build compliant and culturally aligned HR policies and procedures.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with experience working in multicultural and remote environments.

Proactive, adaptable, and able to balance strategic initiatives with daily HR operations in a fast-paced setting.

High integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive information.

Prior experience in the gaming, technology, or startup industry is considered an added advantage.

HR certifications (e.g., BNSP, SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) are preferred.
