A leading hotel chain in South Jakarta is seeking an experienced Hotel GM to oversee operations of a 4-star hotel. In this full-time role, you will lead a team to ensure exceptional service and smooth operations. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of management experience in the hotel industry, strong financial acumen, and excellent leadership skills.
About the role
As the Hotel GM, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our stunning 4-star hotel located in the heart of South Jakarta. In this full-time position, you will lead a team of dedicated hospitality professionals to ensure exceptional customer service and the smooth running of all hotel operations. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for the industry, you will be instrumental in driving the hotel's growth and success.
What you'll be doing
Provide strategic leadership and direction to the hotel management team
Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance the guest experience
Manage the hotel's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Liaise with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure the hotel's objectives are met
Foster a positive and productive work environment by leading, motivating, and developing the hotel staff
Identify and implement innovative strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior hotel management role, preferably in a reputable hotel environment
Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations, including strong financial management skills
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to deliver memorable guest experiences
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
Proficient in hospitality software and technology, with a good understanding of industry trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field
