Job description

The General Affair (GA) Manager will oversee all general administration and facility management activities to ensure smooth daily operations of the companys offices and data center sites. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, safety, and operational efficiency across all physical assets, as well as supporting employee welfare and business continuity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facility and Asset Management

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of office and data center facilities, ensuring compliance with company standards and government regulations.
  • Manage vendors for utilities, security, cleaning, catering, and building maintenance.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and ensure minimal downtime for critical systems.
  • Supervise space planning, office relocation, and renovation projects.

2. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

  • Ensure implementation of workplace safety protocols in collaboration with the HSE and operations teams.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure readiness for emergency situations (fire drills, evacuation plans, etc.).
  • Manage company assets and ensure proper recordkeeping of licenses, permits, and insurance documentation.

3. Procurement and Vendor Management

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for GA-related needs (facility services, vehicles, office supplies, etc.).
  • Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure cost efficiency and service quality.
  • Manage asset inventories and procurement documentation in accordance with company policy.

4. Employee Support and Administrative Services

  • Oversee company transportation, employee accommodation, and office support services.
  • Manage canteen, pantry, and general amenities to maintain a comfortable working environment.
  • Support internal events, visits, and other company-wide activities.

5. Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, safety standards, and corporate governance.
  • Manage documentation and reporting related to asset ownership, leasing, and facility permits.
  • Liaise with local authorities, building management, and external partners as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in General Affairs, preferably in a technology, manufacturing, or data center environment.
  • Strong knowledge of facility management, procurement, and government licensing processes.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and multiple vendors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with facility management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Preferred
  • Experience managing data center environments or high-security technical facilities.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency practices for buildings.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
