Our client is a luxurious beach villa nestled on one of the most idyllic islands of the Nusa Islands, Indonesia. They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting procedures, taxation, reporting, and compliance, while providing strategic support to the management team.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as Financial Controller or in a senior finance/accounting role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations, accounting standards, and compliance procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modelling, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of accounting procedures and internal control systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage and develop the finance team.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and internal controls.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and filing requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
  • Support management with financial insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Supervise and guide the finance & accounting team.
  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
