Overview

As a Fashion Merchandising Division Head, you’ll lead the strategic planning and development of merchandise assortments within their area of responsibility, with a strong focus on product innovation, market relevance, and customer needs.

Drives end-to-end product development processes by setting clear merchandise strategies & aligning execution with business goals.

Partners cross-functionally to drive innovation, optimize assortments, and deliver compelling product offerings that meet sales and profitability targets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic merchandise plans to meet sales and margin targets.
  • Make key decisions on product selection, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
  • Analyze market and fashion trends to enhance category and product development.
  • Lead and coach a team of Merchandising Managers and supporting team.
  • Build strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure a relevant and competitive assortment.
  • Innovate merchandising systems, including inventory planning and allocation accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Planning & Allocation, Marketing, Store Operations, VM).
Qualifications
  • Education: Min. S1/Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience: Senior managerial experience preferred; fashion retail merchandising experience is a must.
  • Strong commercial and fashion sense.
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership abilities.
  • Skilled in budgeting and negotiation, with strong expertise in end-to-end product development—from trend analysis and concept ideation to collection development, production allocation, and go-to-market execution. Experienced in managing P&L to ensure commercial viability and sustainable growth.
  • Great communication and team development capabilities.
