We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Factory General Manager to lead our garment manufacturing operations in Semarang, Indonesia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management and operational excellence, ensuring efficiency and quality across all processes.

💼 Role: Factory General Manager

Responsibility

• Shoulder up full range of day-to-day production responsibilities and carry out the production planning designated by the group.
• Manage the operation within agreed KPIs.
• Provide correct skill set to perform the demands of business and customer.
• Lead the production team to improve the overall productivity and quality, control cost and reduce production lead-time and maintain a stable workforce.
• Work closely with HR, Administration, Logistics, IT and all production related departments to enhance the production efficiency and operation environment.
• Ensure the alignment with the corporate business goals.
• Implement ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Head Office.

Requirement

• Degree holder in Clothing & Textile, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Management Studies is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in garment manufacturers (lingerie, bonding or knits) of which at least 5 years in managerial or executive position.
• Proven track records in managing a large-scale (over 2,000 workers) garment manufacturing operation in South/ Southeast Asia.
• Conversant with production planning, production management and quality control.
• Knowledge in Lean manufacturing is preferable.
• Strategic, independent, strong leadership and project management skills with change mindset.
• Ability to overcome obstacles using positive attitude, teamwork, and influence through building and maintaining relationships.
• Fluent spoken and written English, able to speak local language is a must.
• Computer literate.
• Stationed in Indonesia and able to travel occasionally.
