Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the support bridge between R&D Electrical Engineers and Manufacturing teams.
- Work with the Hardware Team ensuring sub‑system integration & proper system functionality.
- Support wire harnessing assembly activities at the factory, including routing, assembly, and documentation.
- Use AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Inventor to create and maintain wire harness designs, and generate production documents.
- Troubleshoot electromechanical issues arising during manufacturing and provide structured feedback to R&D.
- Create and maintain work processes and instructions.
- Track production issues and ensure product is built reliably and consistently.
- Perform hands‑on electrical and electromechanical work including: reading & interpreting schematics, wire stripping & crimping, mechanical assembly, testing & fault isolation.
- Use electrical test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) to debug EE PCBA and electromechanical systems.
- Perform safety tests (Hi‑Pot, ground bond, etc.) on production and prototype machines.
- Support software & firmware programming, debugging on production units.
- Apply DFM/DFT principles and manufacturing knowledge to support smooth product transfer.
- Use PCs and programming tools to execute test and programming steps accurately according to structured work instructions.
- Maintain versioning control system for project files.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in debugging/troubleshooting prototype systems.
- Hands‑on experience with test & measurement tools (oscilloscope, multimeter).
- Ability to read technical instructions, follow procedures, and give clear, concise feedback.
- Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals with exposure to embedded systems and related electromechanical hardware (preferably STM32, NXP IMX, Arduino, ESP or Microchip).
- Comfortable using AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Inventor for harness routing.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and DFM/DFT principles.
- Familiar with MCU programming, firmware downloads, and debugging tools.
- Team player with a practical, problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently on the factory floor.
