Overview

Assist in Master Document List and Work Schedule preparation for project assigned to the Engineer

Prepares variety of complex engineering deliverables for multiple small to large scale projects including Electrical Panel Room and Control Room General Layout, Cable List Preparation, Cable Sizing Calculation, Switchgear Sizing, MCC Sizing, Motor Sizing, Transformer Sizing, Breaker Sizing, Protection Relay Calculation and Setting, Short Circuit Analysis, Fabrication Drawings for Cable Tray Supports, Cable Support, Conduit Support, Lighting Design, Earthing/Grounding Design, Wiring Diagram, Data Sheets for Electrical Equipment and Cables, Lightning Arrester Design, Electrical Operation Philosophy, Junction Box and Terminal Box Design, Bill of Material Preparation, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other design group personnel to review and exchange project information necessary for design development
• Support field activities and communicate project design requirements, progress and schedules
• Communicate client interests and drivers to project team members and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns
• Review deliverables on a regular basis to maintain schedules
• Provide technical guidance for handling difficult technical assignments to the Lead Electrical Engineer when required
• Attend project coordination meetings with clients when required
• Perform site surveys as required to ascertain design compliance with site requirements and standards

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Graduate
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Electrical Design Engineer role in oil & gas fabrication / petrochemical / pulp & paper / power generation EPC projects (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Good in English for professional conversation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using P&ID
• Willing to be placed in BSD, South Tangerang
