Document Controller & Halal Compliance Officer - (Packaging Industry)

PT. Graphic Packaging International Indonesia, a leading manufacturing company in the packaging industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to manage and implement the Halal Assurance System (HAS) across all production lines.

This is a full-time, work-from-office position located at our plant in Bawen, Semarang, Central Java, with a contract type of PKWTT (Permanent with 3 months probation).

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate the Halal Product Assurance System (HPAS/SJPH) in accordance with BPJPH regulations and LPPOM MUI standards.
• Lead and oversee internal and external audits related to halal certification, ensuring all raw materials, production processes, and finished goods comply with halal criteria.
• Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures for both quality (ISO) and halal standards.
• Manage the flow of both electronic and hard copy documents related to quality and halal compliance.
• Monitor documentation progress in cooperation with the project planner (IT, Production, Logistic).
• Ensure all drawings, specifications, and halal certificates are correctly identified, distributed, and filed/stored.
• Perform and manage the calibration of all equipment and instrumentation in the laboratory and production facilities to guarantee accuracy.
• Ensure the use of standardized forms and templates for all quality-related documentation.
• Analyze supplier and customer document compliance with company standards.
• Monitor the process of incoming and outgoing documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role, preferably within the manufacturing sector (Packaging is a strong plus).
• Having years of proven experience as a Document Controller and/or in a Quality Assurance role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Quality Assurance Systems. Must have training/certification in Awareness & Internal Auditing for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018 / FSSC 22000.
• Possesses knowledge and/or training in instrument calibration (mass, temperature, dimension, volumetric).
• Deep, hands-on understanding of the Halal certification process and the implementation of the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH).
• Awareness of FSC:CoC standards is a plus.
• Language: Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing).
• Preferably domiciled in Semarang, Central Java, and its surrounding areas.
