Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Indonesia seeks a skilled technician to manage FMS system installation, testing, programming, and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in electrical or instrument process engineering and be proactive in troubleshooting hardware and network issues. Coordination with site crews and adherence to SHE standards will be essential. Fluency in English is advantageous. This role may require shift work and on-call support.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Electrical/Instrument process engineering is preferred.
• Willing to provide 24/7 on-call production support.
• Willing to be based on project sites and work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, testing, programming, and commissioning of FMS system equipment.
• Investigate and analyze hardware, network, and FMS system problems.
• Document installation, networking, and troubleshooting processes.
• Coordinate with Site electrician crew and ICT Head Office.
• Implement SHE programs and maintain SHE Management System.

• Performs routine maintenance, hardware installation and network monitoring to make FMS system running well.

Job Responsibilities

Metric

Responsible for installation, testing, programming, and commissioning equipment associated with the FMS system, FMS hardware and the network system running well. All of the installation, testing, programming, and commissioning equipments with the FMS system successfully run well.

Investigate and analyse hardware, network and FMS system problems with instruments, sensor, and carry out programming and configuration changes plus investigate and recommend system improvements with particular emphasis on energy efficiency. System improvements are correcly carried out with energy efficiency.

Prepare and provide documentations for Jigsaw related to the installation, networking and troubleshooting. Documentations are accurately prepared and provided.

Coordinate and work together with Site electrician crew, Dispatcher, and ICT Head Office. Successfully coordinated and worked well with Site electrician crew, Dispatcher, and ICT Head Office.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

Diploma Degree of Any major

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

• Min. 1 - 3 year experiences in Electrical/Instrument process engineering prefer to Fleet Management System.
• Good customer service and team work.
• Preferably has knowledge as a communication engineer especially for information technology.
• Preferably has knowledge of DNS, Firewalls, web and database servers.
• Willing to provide 24/7 on call production support and escalation for hardware, operating system or communication problems associated with system supported by group.
• Willing to be based on project sites and work in shift.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written is an advantage
