This role puts you at the intersection of technology, strategy, and people development - where you'll leverage cutting-edge AI solutions and data-driven insights to scale enablement across our global organization. You'll collaborate directly with our CRO and executive leadership team, making this role critical to GitLab's go-to-market success. The challenges are significant: managing complex global operations, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring our rapidly growing sales organization has the tools and knowledge they need to win in a competitive DevOps market.

What You'll Do
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of communications experts, tool enablement managers, and an analyst
  • Collaborate and iterate directly with the CRO and the CRO leadership team to provide strategic communications guidance for key revenue-impacting field initiatives
  • Oversee the management and iteration of GitLab's sales content management system, ensuring CRO LT, field leaders, and field sellers, plus key stakeholders, are engaged and informed on the platform's performance/ROI
  • Lead sales content and messaging initiatives that support proactive go-to-market activities as well as document internal sales processes for various customer segments and all routes to market
  • Champion efforts to define, maintain, and improve communication and alignment between Go-To-Market functions including Field, Marketing and Product teams. Champion the adoption of the GTM Enablement Framework
  • Oversee the enablement project management system to ensure the optimal resources are staffed against the key priorities, adjusting plans accordingly
  • Research and evaluate opportunities to leverage genAI solutions to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency across enablement
  • Ensure alignment of field enablement content with key internal and external events, such as new product releases, campaigns, and essential industry trade shows
  • Leverage Salesforce.com CRM infrastructure and AI technologies to craft enablement communications at scale for the globe and ensure all programs are data-driven
  • Measure and report on the impact of sales enablement programs and initiatives. In addition, develop a feedback loop to ensure a data-driven approach to ongoing improvements
What You'll Bring
  • Proven enablement expertise, particularly in the SaaS/software/DevOps industry
  • Experience leading small teams of enablement operations professionals, particularly PMO, communications, tools, and analytics
  • Working knowledge of sales training technologies and methodologies; demonstrable experience with sales, partner, and customer success enablement concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relevant experience preparing, developing, and executing global sales teams' effectiveness strategies, tactics and action plans for a technology platform
  • Experience leading enablement operations teams - particularly expert in leveraging AI, communications tools, enablement platforms, and project management software
  • Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with C-level executives and senior field leaders
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, skilled at project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • You share our values, and work in accordance with those values
