Hi, Eatwell Culinary (Ta Wan, Ichiban Sushi, and Dapur Solo) is calling candidates for the Demand Planner Staff position!
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather input for demand planning processes.
- Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, and promotional activities to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with production and procurement teams to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
- Identify and promptly address demand planning issues, such as stock shortages or surplus.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on demand forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and supply chain performance.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to improve demand planning processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform demand planning strategies.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
- Strong analytical skills are necessary, with the ability to interpret data, trends, and patterns.
- A detail-oriented mindset is crucial, with a commitment to accuracy and precision in work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new concepts and tools in demand planning are essential.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools is a plus.
- A passion for supply chain management and a desire to contribute to optimizing supply chain processes is important.
- Internships or coursework related to supply chain management or demand planning are advantageous but not required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment is necessary.
