We are looking for a Basketball Curriculum Specialist to design engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans for children and youth aged 5–18. This role includes curriculum development, coach training, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality class delivery across all Sparks locations.
Develop high-quality, age-appropriate Basketball lesson plans for ages 5–18.
Align curriculum with Sparks’ developmental goals and learning philosophy.
Ensure consistent implementation of lesson plans across all locations.
Train and guide coaches to deliver classes effectively and professionally.
Collect feedback from coaches and parents to evaluate program effectiveness.
Continuously refine the Basketball curriculum based on feedback, data, and coaching best practices.
Collaborate with coaches and operations to maintain overall class quality.
Coach classes when needed and be hands‑on to ensure excellent execution.
Bachelor’s degree in Sports Education, Physical Education, Psychology, or related field; or equivalent practical basketball coaching experience.
Minimum 3 years coaching kids/youth Basketball (ages 5–18).
Strong passion for teaching, coaching, and youth development.
Able to follow structured lesson planning and open to feedback.
Basketball coaching certifications preferred but not mandatory.
Experience in competitive or academy‑level youth training is a plus.
