As Assistant Sales Manager Weddings, you will create awareness of Wedding & Events at Conrad Bali, increase revenue through Food & Beverage (Banquet) and Accommodation, and establish contacts with wedding organizers, event organizers, exclusive bridal houses, and wedding communities.
Responsibilities
- Establish wedding packages with DOSM and the Sales Manager – Wedding & Events.
- Liaise with PR/MarCom for advertising research and suggestions.
- Implement action plans related to wedding areas as outlined in the marketing plan.
- Respond to and pursue business leads from agents, wholesalers, wedding organizers, bridal houses, and wedding communities.
- Search and compile data for relevant wedding suppliers.
- Handle site inspections for visiting wedding organizers, existing accounts, and potential accounts.
- Respond to inquiries with comprehensive offers within 24 hours.
- Ensure wedding leads are materialized and prepare wedding agreements for clients.
- Follow through with rooming lists, deposit payments, and room reductions after contracts are signed, monitoring group block and rooming list data with the Sales Coordinator – Wedding & Events.
- Maximize revenue across all hotel products, including rooms, wedding venues/packages, and F&B.
- Follow up on all wedding leads and update the Sales Proactive team on progress.
- Ensure additional arrangements (wedding liturgy, decoration, bouquet & boutonnière, etc.) meet guests' expectations.
- Meet and greet organizers or wedding couples upon arrival and departure.
- Take immediate action to correct client dissatisfaction and report problems or feedback to the appropriate sales and/or catering persons.
- Liaise with Credit/Accounting to prepare final invoices.
- Conduct final invoice review meetings with clients.
- Attend travel shows and promotional events as requested by DOSM.
- Keep competitor information updated for the wedding business.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in international hotel chains.
- Good English reading and writing skills to meet business needs.
- Strong market analysis ability and understanding of local customers.
