Position Overview

The Civil Engineer (Port Projects) will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and designing port infrastructure projects. This role ensures compliance with Indonesian regulations, delivers cost-effective solutions, and supports the development of various port facilities within Meratus Group’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate port construction projects and provide technical as well as financial recommendations.
• Understand and ensure compliance with Indonesia’s regulations and regulatory standards applicable to port construction.

• Design and propose alternative port construction solutions when required.
• Involve in the planning and construction of various port facilities including Container Terminals, Multipurpose Terminals, Container Yards, Container Depots, Passenger Terminals, Port Utilities, and other infrastructure/buildings within ports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in port, maritime, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in project evaluation including financial calculations.
• Ability to develop alternative designs and solutions under time constraints.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
