Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to supervise and monitor construction works in Pasuruan, East Java. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and has at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and good communication skills are essential. This is a short-term contract role lasting around 3 months, with expectations for timely project completion.

Job description

Responsibility:

Supervise and monitor building works (structural, architectural, and finishing).

Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.

Conduct inspections and monitor site progress.

Ensure timely completion of building works according to the master schedule and coordinate handovers to other disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical).

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Review shop drawings, technical documents, and materials.

Prepare daily/weekly reports and support as-built documentation.

Assist in resolving site issues related to building works.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction (structural and finishing).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, standards, and materials.

Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Available immediately or <1 month notice period.
