A leading technology firm in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Chief Digitalization Officer (CDO) to lead its enterprise-wide digital transformation strategy. This position requires a strong strategic mindset and proven experience in technology leadership, particularly in IT applications and digital channels. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a track record of successful large-scale digital initiatives. The Chief Digitalization Officer (CDO) / CTO is a C-level executive responsible for defining and executing the company’s enterprise-wide digital transformation strategy. This role leads the digitalization of business processes, customer engagement, and commercial channels by integrating IT applications, databases, networks, e-Commerce platforms, and offline-to-online (O2O) initiatives to drive operational efficiency, scalability, and sustainable business growth.
Define and lead the company’s digitalization roadmap aligned with corporate strategy and long-term business objectives.
Drive the transformation of traditional business models into digitally enabled and data-driven operations.
Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance competitiveness, customer experience, and profitability.
Oversee enterprise IT architecture covering ERP, CRM, SCM, finance systems, and core business applications.
Ensure seamless integration between applications, databases, and digital platforms across all business units.
Establish scalable, secure, and future‑ready IT infrastructure to support business expansion.
Lead the development and governance of enterprise data platforms, databases, and data architecture.
Enable advanced analytics, business intelligence, and data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Ensure data integrity, availability, security, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee network architecture, cloud/on‑prem infrastructure, and connectivity across offices, plants, warehouses, and retail points.
Define and enforce cybersecurity strategy, policies, and risk management frameworks.
Ensure high availability, system reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.
Lead the development and optimization of e‑Commerce platforms, digital sales channels, and customer‑facing applications.
Drive offline‑to‑online (O2O) integration, ensuring a seamless customer journey across physical and digital touchpoints.
Partner with Commercial, Sales, and Marketing teams to enable digital revenue growth and customer engagement.
Champion innovation initiatives including automation, AI, IoT, RPA, cloud, and mobile solutions where relevant.
Evaluate technology partnerships, vendors, and platforms to accelerate digital capabilities.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Establish IT and digital governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Manage technology risks, compliance requirements, and internal controls.
Ensure cost‑effective IT investment, budgeting, and ROI measurement.
Lead and develop high‑performing IT and digital teams across applications, infrastructure, data, and security.
Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board on digital and technology matters.
Collaborate closely with business leaders to translate business needs into digital solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a strong advantage).
Minimum 15–20 years of experience in IT, digital transformation, or technology leadership roles, including senior executive exposure.
Proven track record leading large‑scale digital transformation or enterprise IT modernization initiatives.
Strong strategic mindset with deep understanding of business digitalization and technology enablement.
Solid experience across IT applications, enterprise systems, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and digital channels.
Demonstrated success in building e‑Commerce and O2O ecosystems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills at Board and C‑suite level.
Ability to balance innovation, risk management, and operational excellence.
