Carpenter - Mould Production
We are seeking an experienced, highly skilled Carpenter with proven leadership qualities and strong communication in English. The successful candidate will play a key role on-site and guide others while delivering high‑quality work.
Required experience and skills
- Strong carpentry skills with a minimum 5‑year experience.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings for making timber moulds.
- Managing people.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Familiarity with CAD software and computer‑controlled machinery.
- Experience as a timber mould maker or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
Advantage but not essential
- Strong knowledge of master designs, fabrication techniques, and materials.
Required personal attributes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Solid mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
Required education
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program in carpentry.
General responsibilities

- Working in coordination and cooperation with the rest of the Indonesian Management Team.
Specific responsibilities
- Both a hands‑on and administrative role.
- Take full control of the management of the Mould Making Team to ensure that it produces the moulds required for the company’s Production Team as directed by the Product Engineering Manager.
- Interpreting CAD technical drawings to understand mould specifications.
- Being able to use, and directing other employees to use, various tools, equipment, and machinery to fabricate mould components, such as cores, cavities, and inserts, according to design specifications.
- Collaborating with designers and other team members to ensure that mould designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Conducting inspections and tests on completed moulds to ensure they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.
- Troubleshooting and fixing any issues or malfunctions with moulds.
- Identifying and resolving problems in mould making to minimize production downtime.
- Managing the maintenance and repair of existing moulds.
- Adherence to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality control standards throughout the mould making process.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of mould specifications, modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Ensuring that the Mould Making Team conforms with the company’s Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015.
